Personal note

The PalmPix is a camera attachment for the Palm III series. The resolution is 640x480px!

The whole thing is technically quite cleverly solved. The attachment transmits a reduced preview to the app and then a "higher" image to the Palm after triggering.

This was actually my first digital camera. In the year 2000, it was already practical to take a quick picture on the go.
